You know, this is all getting quite... childish. People holding grudges, calling people sinners when they are no saints themselves.. People using others to get what they want. What really gets to me is people using love as if it is something that happens every time you fall for someone. When you love someone you never let them go, and always do your best to keep them from hurting. You hold to your promises, and never lie to them. They should be your closest and dearest friend, for if you really love them, and want to be with them forever, they should be the one you go to when you need help most. It is also how you determine if they love you back. If they do, they will listen, not just hear, everything you have to tell them. If you mention something you want in passing, they will be the ones to surprise you with it as a gift. Love is something that never dies, never stops. If you find yourself saying you love every man or woman you come to care for, you need to look at that, because your heart will only be hurt if you trust everyone who comes into your life. Im not going to lie, I am a fine example of loving those who show compassion to me, and I do fall too far sometimes for those I shouldnt, ignoring the warning signs that tell me that it isnt a safe or smart idea to keep going. And yes, I like most have been hurt by this, and put up walls to keep people out so I dont have to be depressed so much. Maybe thats why I hate the word love being abused so much, because I myself see how stupid it is opening my heart to anyone who is seemingly interested in my life. Generally they just cheat or lie or do something that erases all of their promises and words of love, making me doubt everything they told me, and every moment I shared with them. So all in all, opening up to people just because they say they "love" you is never a smart idea. Anyway, I just wish people were smarter and more mature. Im sure someone is going to read this and have some feeling of offense torward them, and I have two things to say. 1. If you take offense to this it is probably because you cheated or lied or did something and feel justified in doing so. Well.... cheating is cheating and there are many other things you can do that arent as messed up as cheating on someone, and saves you from looking like an idiot. 2. Im not innocent myself as I said. I know I have done wrong, and Im never going to say I was justified in doing what I have done. Granted at the time I had my reasons, but I know people were hurt and if you do anything that hurts another it is wrong, regardless of what you think they deserve (dont go to extremes like shooting a murderer, you know what Im talking about) Im not sure what my point is in this, basically another rant you are free to speculate and comment on, Im just up late and kinda annoyed that my life has gone back down again when I was finally doing ok.
